Subhash Projects Ltd, Texmaco and Kolkata based Mittal group have committed a total of Rs 500 crore investment in small hydro projects to be located in Darjeeling district.

SPML Infra Limited, which is mostly engaged in the power and water related projects within the infrastructure sector, is aggressively bidding for road projects, and is likely to register a turnover of Rs 700 crores for the year ended March 31, 2006. For 2006-07, Mr. Subhash Sethi, Vice Chairman & Managing Director said the target is to make it a Rs 1,000-crore company. The company is currently having an order book worth more than Rs 2,000 crores and the projects would be completed within the next 30 months.

SPML Infra Limited (SPML) has recently been awarded the under-mentioned orders by Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd for Execution of Rural Electrification work under 'Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY)" for Rural Electricity Infrastructure and Household electrification for Chitradurga, Kolar, Bangalore Rural and Tumkur Districts of Karnataka.

1. Execution of Rural Electrification work on turnkey basis in Chitradurga District of Karnataka: Rs 417.70 million

2. Execution of Rural Electrification work on turnkey basis in Kolar District of Karnataka: Rs 328.90 million

3. Execution of Rural Electrification work on turnkey basis in Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka: Rs 384.30 million

4. Execution of Rural Electrification work on turnkey basis in Tumkur District of Karnataka: Rs 240.70 million

Subhash Projects to foray into power trading business Kolkata, May 23

SPML Infra Limited., engaged in the construction sector, will soon foray into the power trading business through one its group companies.

Subhash Projects to construct ETP for Delhi Jal Board
Delhi Jal Board has awarded a contract that envisages the design, building and operation of
a 90 MGD effluent pumping station at Yamuna Vihar in Delhi. The project will be completed
within 24 months.

Subhash Projects to grow on good order book 2005-08-30
Subhash Projects’ company order book position is at Rs.1350 crores. The company’s latest
projects include a Rs.49.85 crores project from the Delhi Jal Board and a Rs.75.37 crores
project for electrification of rural India.

Subhash Projects hits 52-week high 2005-80-30
SPML Infra Limited. has touched a 52-week high of Rs.100.45.

SPML Infra Limited. – New Delhi, India
SPML Infra Limited., has reached an agreement with Light Stream Technologies,
Inc. in Reston, VA, on a strategic alliance for distributing the US Company’s products.
Light Stream will license its pulsed ultraviolet water disinfection technology to Subhash for both
product assembly in India and joint marketing efforts in the region. The company said final
details of the arrangement should be settled by June 30.
