SPML Project Highlights (Indicative List)
- SPML set up the world’s highest single-stage pumping station at Lunglei in Mizoram
- India’s first integrated management contract from source to tap for Latur Water supply Scheme & Integrated Bulk Water supply and water management for Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation, have been SPML’s flagship projects in integrated water supply management initiatives on a PPP basis. These ventures has created a ripple effect with new initiatives in other cities across India.
- Through it’s Treated Water Transmission Mains Project (JBIC funded ), SPML, facilitated drinking water to about 10 lakh people spread over 40 villages in Kerala. The project is JBIC (Japan Bank for International Co-operation) funded and has been secured in International Competitive Bid (ICB).
- SPML is credited to have undertaken the maximum number of 40 projects from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited in the financial year 2007-2008.
- SPML is also credited with commissioning of maximum number of 110/66 kV sub-stations by single Turnkey Contractor in Dec 2007 & Mar 2008 respectively, in Karnataka.
- SPML executed Central Government aided biggest APDRP project ever in India till date (U.G. Package in terms of quantity of cable laid and value of Contract Order under Execution of “Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (APDRP) Works”)
- SPML executed Yelahanka Primary/Tertiary Sewage Plant - the First Ever Tertiary Sewage Treatment Plant of it’s kind in India for the reuse of Municipal Waste Water contributing to the environment protection and for a cleaner/better community.
- SPML laid 2050mm diameter pipes @ 1km/day, while implementing it’s Saurashtra Pipeline Project. The main objective of the project was to transfer the excess water from the southern region of Gujarat to the drought prone areas of Saurashtra.
- SPML participated' Tirupati Water Supply Scheme was commissioned in a record 97 days.
- SPML undertaken Plant Water Supply Package – Bakreshwar Thermal Power Plant, West Bengal, completed the Project in April 1999, three months ahead of schedule. This was an OECF, Japan Funded Project.
